You’ll start by picking your favorite design from a wide selection of colorful and traditional kimonos.
Professional staff will help you get dressed properly, which is an experience in itself! They also provide simple hairstyling with beautiful accessories to complete the look.
In a traditional tatami mat room, an instructor will explain the history and meaning behind the ceremony. It’s a hands-on experience where you’ll watch a demonstration before whisking your own bowl of matcha (green tea) to enjoy with Japanese sweets.
One of the best parts is that after the ceremony, you can wear your kimono to explore the city. You just need to return it by their closing time, which is usually around 6:00 PM.
